Full roof clean
Moss and lichen are removed by hand, the gutters and downpipes are cleared, and a biocide treatment goes on. Nothing gets coated until the covering is genuinely clean and the surface underneath is stable.
Preparation and drying
Loose or displaced tiles are flagged, ridge bedding and flashing issues are pointed out, and the roof is left to dry through. A damp or dusty surface will not hold a coating however good the product is.
Masking and protection
Gutters, flashings, rooflights, solar panels, walls and everything on the ground below are masked and sheeted. Overspray on a neighbour car is the quickest way to spoil an otherwise good job.
Coating applied in coats
The coating is sprayed in even passes, normally more than one, working methodically across the pitch. Coverage is checked as we go, so there are no thin patches at the ridge or heavy runs at the eaves.
Final inspection
Masking comes off, gutters are checked again for overspray and debris, and we walk you round the outside in daylight so you can judge the finish from where people actually see it.
